Our story

Our story starts with the simple fact that we just love really good coffee! We began Oak Hill Farm Coffee in the fall of 2018. While we were sitting in a coffee shop visiting with our friends, Wes and Beth, dissecting the coffee we had just ordered we discovered that it was good, not great. We shared with them our love for coffee and the many ways it has changed over the years as well as the different ways we brewed it from percolators to pour overs.

As we talked, we discovered that they were previously founding partners of a local coffee shop we frequent. Wes, a master roaster with 20+ years experience, said that his coffee roaster was just sitting in storage collecting dust and he had no place to set up and roast. We had just finished a building on our property that would be the perfect place to roast. Before we knew it we were up and roasting some of the best coffee we had ever tasted.

A few week later we were talking about how we would like to share our coffee with other coffee lovers like us. We also would like to be able to take a portion of the proceeds and support various projects where we see a need. Then we had an idea, what if we started offering monthly subscriptions, then from that we could give a percentage to various projects of importance. So, we started Oak Hill Farm Coffee!
